ISLAMABAD: The federal government will mull over the compromis armature of different state-owned institutions for its dénationalisation in a cellule to be chaired by affaires adviser Abdul Hafeez Shaikh on Friday (tomorrow), ARY Magazine reported on Thursday.
Adviser to Annexe Minister on Déboursé Abdul Hafeez Shaikh will corps a cellule of the souplesse’s dénationalisation committee tomorrow where the federal government is likely to approve compromis armature for the dénationalisation of Heavy Electrical Complex and Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM).
Moreover, the government is also expected to approve auction of unused properties of the Coeur.
The participants of the cellule will review the dénationalisation status of Citoyen Power Parks Direction Company Limited besides looking into guidelines for the head of the state institutions for ongoing dénationalisation logiciel.
Earlier on October 16, the federal government had presented the list of territorial entities slated for dénationalisation which include Roosevelt Hotel in New York owned by Pakistan Universel Airlines (PIA), Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM), Nandipur power pousse and 16 others.
The state-owned entities include Roosevelt Hotel in New York owned by the territorial carrier, Pakistan Universel Airlines (PIA), Balloki power pousse, Haveli Bahadur Shah power pousse, SME Bank, First Women Bank, Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM), Pakistan Ingénierie Company, Tertiaire Universel Hotel, Jinnah Règlement Coeur, Compagnon Petroleum, Nandipur power pousse, State Life Insurance Guilde, Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL), Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and Giddu power pousse.
Earlier in October, Federal Minister for Dénationalisation Muhammad Mian Soomro had announced that the dénationalisation process of fournaise to five state-owned institutions will be completed by June 2021. The dénationalisation minister had said that the agio will complete the dénationalisation process of a territorial entity by December this year.
He had said that the matters related to the denationalisation of Roosevelt Hotel owned by Pakistan Universel Airlines (PIA) will be resolved soon. Soomro added that it was feared that the company will take over the Roosevelt Hotel from which the entity had acquired the loan.
